This site will give you some examples
of the sorts of pieces that I generally
make--though I am always creating
new designs. If you are interested in
purchasing work online, please visit my
etsy shop. If you can't find exactly
what you're looking for there
let me know--I always have items
in stock but not yet listed. I'm also
happy to discuss custom work. If you
are in Austin, my work is available in
select shops around town, or feel free
to contact me and arrange a time to
meet personally.

ARTIST STATEMENTIm especially drawn to materials that
are decidedly not precious--things that
some might even consider to be trash.
In this vein, my current work is primarily
concerned with re-purposing decorative
tin containers. I like to use the term
upcycling. Finding the tins and then
selecting the most intriguing areas to
work with is, in many ways, a holdover
from my graphic design training.
Somehow, I find it both comforting and
challenging to work with found imagery.
The variety within the raw material is
almost limitless, so I have focused
largely on the circle as a unifying theme.
As I grow in the work, I am also exploring
different shapes and more complex
constructions. It is by far the most
engaging work I've ever done. I can't wait
to see where it will next take me.
