Flipping through my Bin of Mistakes I found an ear wire shaped like the ones here. I don’t remember making it, but must have felt it had promise. Anyway, it got me thinking about what sorts of things I could string on a U shaped wire. I played around with several, but settled on more U shapes.
Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then assembled on a hand formed and forged surgical stainless steel ear wire to finish the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.5" (36mm) wide and hang about 2" (114mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card, wrapped and ready for gift-giving.
