I've recently become fascinated with old book covers as a jewelry material. It fits right in with my adaptive reuse philosophy, so I've created a separate line of Ex Libris book pieces.
The designs and colors are limited to the books I have on hand, so if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone.
This particular pair comes from a vintage Readers Digest condensed book. They have super fab patterns on the covers. If you have any lying around that you would like made into jewelry, just get in touch!
Each piece is sawed by hand, filed, finished smooth and then coated with a microcrystalline wax to protect from moisture. (These are, however, essentially pieces of paper, so do not wear them in the shower!) Dimensions are approximate as each pair is made to order, so please allow for some variation with your unique pair. The rectangular ear wires are hand made from surgical stainless steel wire.
All adaptive reuse Ex Libris pieces come to you neatly displayed on a card and wrapped in a simple recycled package ready for gift-giving.
Please contact me if you have any other questions.
