Each field of tin is hand cut, distressed and added to the pattern design. A few rivets hold the center corners in place. The full composition is placed on top of another rectangle of tin that has been attached to a solid steel buckle blank. The outside edges are the carefully folded up to crimp all the tiny pieces in place. The final step is to distress the outer edges to match the look and feel of the interior.
This belt buckle is 3” wide and 2” high. It has a standard buckle back that fits 1.5" wide belts like this.
