Just playing around with some new ideas as part of my Go Big line in 2018. I started out with a big oval that I decide to cut in half. The shapes weren't as interesting as I had hoped so I pulled out my handy corrugator and made some waves. I liked them much better then.
I hand cut the oval shape file and finished the edges smooth and then cut it in half. I then distressed the finish to remove the sheen and make it a bit more interesting.
They are finished with waxed steel wires and surgical stainless steel ear wires. The final earrings hang about 2.75" from the ear and are about 1.5" (35mm) wide.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
