A long strip of tin is riveted into a ring and shaped into a long oval. The form is then filled with concrete and I embedded the tip of a cinnamon fern. Once dry the piece is sanded. The final process is to highlight the leaf form with a bit of silver colored wax. The whole piece is then protected with a thin coat of soft wax.
The finished pendant is approximately .875" (20mm) wide and 1.75” long. It’s finished with a 1mm silver finish chain with a spring ring clasp.
