The outbreak of the coronavirus is changing up everything. Right now, none of us know what the future holds and with the economy shut down and social distancing, we have WAY too much time to make up all kinds of stories about it.
Mostly I think storytelling is awesome, but the stories our brains create to fill the void of the unknown--those stories suck. They just bring up all kinds of unproductive fear. One of the ways I like to quiet my brain when that starts to happen is to play in my studio by making collages. I like it so much that I have collected WAY too much collage material over the years. I can think of no better time to cull through and share it.
Each listing is for one 6 x 9 handmade envelope (which can also be cut up and collaged with!) filled with a bunch of random paper and ephemera. It tends heavily to old children's books, but there's a wide mix of imagery, text and color.
