These one-of-a-kind talismans are a great way to add a little extra magic to spaces. They are small art that can be hung in doorways, windows, altars, narrow spaces or any other place that needs some good energy.
This talisman is a tiny version of my bigger pieces. This piece is about 2.75” wide and hangs about 3.5”.
I’ve been working with all sorts of new shapes lately and have been thinking more deeply about the symbolism of each of them.
The full moon illuminates a time of heightened emotions and potent creativity. While new moons are beginnings, full moons are the culmination of such aspirations. They’re a time of endings; a time to rest and release.
The waning crescent moon is used for banishing evil energy, break spells, and remove hexes while starting fresh with something new. It is also used to help you remember things. The waxing crescent moon represents a time of new beginnings. This is a time when you should start new projects or add new things into your life.
The eye is one of the most powerful symbols known to many cultures. It can be an indicator of good, evil, protection, wisdom, knowledge, secrecy and mystery
Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear. If a flawless finish is important to you, please zoom in to the pictures here to look for imperfections that might be distracting for you.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
