I really like these odd little vertical tubes. You may recognized these from a past design, but these are upgraded to allow them to be strung on wire instead of just hung from the ear wire. It gives me ideas for other sorts of configurations. For now, I like this clean lined, modern look. Downside is that the design takes a bit of time to get right. I guess that’s the way of all things. Fast, cheap or good. Pick two.
Each piece is hand cut and the edges are filed and finished smooth. The rectangles are then formed into tubes and strung on a waxed steel wire. The earrings are finished with a surgical stainless steel French hook ear wire.
The finished earrings are approximately .75" (19mm) wide and hang about 3" (72mm) from the ear.All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card, wrapped and ready for gift-giving.
