Messing around with designs on the computer last night lead me to this double leaf-y shape. Got into the shop this morning, made a template and start playing around with some tin. I was expecting to use these shapes in a much more straightforward way, but once a couple of them were cut out, I noticed the interplay between them was much more interesting than my sketches.

Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then riveted to each other to form the overlapped leaf shape. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.25" (30mm) wide and hang about 3.25" (80mm) from the ear.

All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card, wrapped and ready for gift-giving.
