This earrings design came out of trying this new three lobed shape. Which was pretty cool on it's own, but then one randomly got pushed up against a little teardrop shape and I realized I liked them together much better. Also, it has been giving me a chance to practice pattern mixing, which has always been tough for me.
This particular pair features a beautiful gold vintage tin matched with contemporary tea tin with cerise swirls. Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then attached with a stainless steel split ring. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.5" (37mm) wide and hang about 3" (72mm) from the ear. Each pair is made to order, so expect slight variations with your particular pair.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
