These earrings are made from the corner of the lid of a vintage Ritz Cracker tin. Usually the color on these vintage tins are more muted by time, but this one is still pretty intense.
Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then slightly formed to add interest and rigidity. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 2" (48mm) wide and hang about 2.5" (60mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and wrapped ready for gift-giving.
