I’m always looking for different ways to use circles and I love the look of two domed discs together. It’s super tricky to do, though, using just cold connection techniques--especially since I’m not really great with wire either.
After a bunch of fails, I did finally figure out how to create enough tension to create this look. This is a nice, swingy design that I might decide to add to the mix.
Each circle is hand cut and finished smooth and then wired to a V of waxed steel wire. A surgical stainless steel wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately .75" (19mm) wide and hang about 2.75" (68mm) from the ear.
