My good friend turned me on to this sweet 1mm leather cording that comes in a bunch of cool colors. Of course, I had to buy some to see if I could figure out a way to use it. Which means it has sat in my studio for about three months now.
I finally pulled it out when I remembered all these tiny little beads I made a while back from the absolute last scraps of salvageable tin. They are pretty raw and unfinished compared to most of what I do, but it gives them a certain charm all their own.
This piece features a natural warm brown cord with beads in a variety of muted aqua, golds and neutrals.
Each bracelet/necklaces is a 25" (63.5cm) length of cord with 5 - 10 beads strung on it. When worn as a necklace they all fall to the center and when wrapped up on your arm they tend to travel around. Each cord is finished with an tension bead that allows you to adjust the length.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
