This week I pulled a little bin of these remainder pieces off the shelf. I punch and endless number of circles for my work and often the remaining pieces seem to beautiful to just throw in the recycle bin.
These earrings feature white circles distressed with a circle patterns laid over beautiful blue-gray leftover bits. Those pieces are atop of a black patinaed tin bottom I almost relegated to recycling. Glad I held on to it.
Each piece is hand cut, filed, finished smooth, constructed and then slightly formed for added rigidity and interest. This earrings are approximately 1.75” (44mm) wide and hang about 2.25” (54mm) from the ear.
I’m using up tiny scraps of tin so each pair is completely unique. If you see some you like, snag 'em now.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
