I started cutting these long raindrop shapes a while back, but couldn't figure out how to make use of all their elongated beauty. It finally occurred to me one day to curl the tippy top part of the tin to create a loop. Sliding them on a medium sized steel jump ring sealed the deal.
This particular pair features part of one of my favorite vintage tin trays. According to the sticker on the back, it was a free gift with the purchase of Spic & Span cleaner. I love the cool gray flowers and shimmery gold highlights on the field of snowy white. Each pair is made to order, so please allow for some variation with your unique pair.
The DripDrops are approximately 1.5" (42mm) long and with the addition of the steel ring and French hook ear wire, hang about 2.5" (63mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
