This earrings design came out of trying this new three lobed shape. Which ws pretty cool on it's own, but then one randomly got pushed up against a little teardrop shape and I realized I liked them together much better. Also, it has been giving me a chance to practice my patten mixing, which has always been tough for me.
This particular pair features one of my favorite teal green tin with swirls of gold paired up with another piece of vintage tin with lovely greens and blues. Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then attached to a ring of waxed steel wire. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.5" (37mm) wide and hang about 3" (72mm) from the ear. Each pair is made to order, so expect slight variations with your particular pair.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and wrapped ready for gift-giving.
Please contact me if you have any other questions.
