This is part of a special collection made from a tin I didn’t particularly like. So I sanded off much of the design and then drew some doodles in permanent ink.
I started cutting these long raindrop shapes a while back, but couldn't figure out how to make use of all their elongated beauty. It finally occurred to me one day to curl the tippy top part of the tin to create a loop. Sliding them on a medium sized steel jump ring sealed the deal. It has become my favorite way to utilize those last lovely little bits of tin.
The DripDrops are approximately 1.5" (42mm) long and with the addition of the steel ring and surgical stainless steel French hook ear wire, hang about 2.25" (60mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
