This gorgeous bit of tin harkens to simpler times. Or maybe just times with different complexities.
The length of waxed steel wire is riveted to the rectangle and a 1mm 18” long silver finish chain is strung through a little tin bead that sits at the top of the rainbow. The chain has a simple spring ring clasp.
The finished pendant is approximately 2" (48mm) wide and hangs about 1.5” from the chain.
Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear. If a flawless finish is important to you, please zoom in to the pictures here to look for imperfections that might be distracting for you.
