I've recently become fascinated with old book covers as a jewelry material. It fits right in with my adaptive reuse philosophy, so I've created a separate line of Ex Libris book pieces.
The designs and colors are limited to the books I have on hand, so if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone.
This particular pair comes from a vintage Peanuts encyclopedia. I love finding these books because so many people love Peanuts and everyone has a favorite character.
Each piece is sawed by hand, filed, finished smooth and then waxed to protect from moisture. (These are, however, essentially pieces of paper, so do not wear them in the shower!) The rectangular ear wires are hand made from surgical stainless steel wire.
All adaptive reuse Ex Libris pieces come to you neatly displayed on a card and wrapped in a simple recycled package ready for gift-giving.
Please contact me if you have any other questions.
