The colors and arrow pattern evoke a memory times past when entertainment travelled from small town to small town bringing color and excitement to otherwise drab and duty-filled days. This cuff is a reminder to slow down and enjoy the riches and relationships around you.
Each piece of tin is hand cut, distressed and laid out on the copper sheet. Working from one corner, I punch teeny tiny holes and then rivet each piece to secure it to the copper.
Once all the pieces are married together, I file and finish the edges and back so that they are smooth. Bending the whole piece into the cuff shape is the final step.
The finished bracelet is 1” (24mm) wide and 6” long.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
