Owls represent wisdom, knowledge, change, transformation, intuitive development, and trusting the mystery. They are tied to the spiritual symbolism of “death” which brings about new beginnings with a higher understanding and evolved perspective. Owls can show up when you are being asked to listen to your intuition. This lovely owl with crescent moon feathers came to me as a gift all the way from down under. Crescent moons also signify new beginnings and release, so this necklace is filled with the energy of newness, nowness and transformation.
The little arc of waxed steel wire is riveted to the owl and a 1mm 18” long silver finish chain is strung through a little tin bead that sits at the top of the rainbow. The chain has a simple spring ring clasp.
The finished pendant is approximately 1" (24mm) wide and about 2.5” (60mm) high.
Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear. If a flawless finish is important to you, please zoom in to the pictures here to look for imperfections that might be distracting for you.
