Eyes are probably the most important symbolic sensory organ. They can represent clairvoyance, omniscience, and/or a gateway into the soul. Other qualities that eyes are commonly associated with are: intelligence, light, vigilance, moral conscience, and truth.

Pieces are hand cut, filed and finished smooth. The shapes are stacked and then riveted together with a length of waxed steel wire. They are finished with a surgical stainless steel ear wire. Each blue could be slightly different, so please allow for variations with your particular pair.

The finished earrings are about .75” (18 mm) wide and hang about 2.25” (54 mm) from the ear.

Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear. If a flawless finish is important to you, please zoom in to the pictures here to look for imperfections that might be distracting for you.

All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.

Please contact me if you have any other questions.
