I have always loved ginkgo leaves. Well, always after I learned about them which was as a young adult. We didn’t have any ginkgo trees in Maine that I knew of. I've found out recently there ARE some in Maine! I'm going to go introduce myself this summer.
These are smaller ginkgo leaves, but I also have this earring design available in a slightly larger version as well.
Each pair is made to order, so please allow for some color variation. Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and all the leaf veins are then hand etched. The stem of the leaf is rolled to allow a ring of waxed steel wire to pass through. Surgical stainless steel ear wires finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.25" (30mm) wide and hang about 2" (48mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving.
