I've been playing around lately with making pieces that are less "finished" looking. Pieces that are a bit more free form and rustic. This particular pair features a hand textured black paired with a copper horseshoe shape with etched linework.
Each piece is hand cut, filed and finished smooth. Then I hand distress and connect the pieces. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.
The finished earrings are approximately 1.25" (28mm) wide and hang about 3" (72mm) from the ear.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and wrapped ready for gift-giving.
