These little birds came out of my 30 Day Challenge a few months back and they've proven to be very popular.
This particular pair is just the simplest white tin that I've sanded back to have a matte finish and lightly distressed edges.
The little birds are hand-cut, filed, finished smooth and formed slightly to add interest and rigidity. The birds are 1.5" (37mm) tall and are attached with a tube rivet to swoopy ear wires that make them hang about 2.5" (67mm) from the ear. The wire is designed to catch on a little bend made in the tail. This creates tension in the wire and keeps the little birds from flying off.
All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card ready for gift-giving.
Please contact me if you have any other questions.
